Summer Drink to Cool Yourself

Ragi is a whole grain that is gluten-free and rich in fiber which helps in weight-loss and diabetes. It is packed with Calcium, good carbs, and vitamin d.

Today let’s learn how to make this miracle powder and make a drink out of it which acts as a coolant during this hot weather and also helps in weight-loss.

Ingredients to make the Magical powder.

  1. Ragi (finger millet) 2 cups.
  2. Horse gram half cup.
  3. Flax seeds 2 tbs.
  4. Jeera 1tsp.

Wash and soak ragi and horse gram separately overnight/ four to five hours and drain the water and dry it and take a pan and dry roast all the mentioned ingredients and blend it into the powder and tadaa the miracle powder is ready. It can be stored in the refrigerator for 3 months. Now let’s learn to make the drink from this powder.

Ingredients for the Drink needed.

  1. Miracle powder 2tbs
  2. Water 1 glass
  3. Buttermilk half glass
  4. Rock salt 1tsp

Mix the powder in the water without lumps and boil it for three to four minutes on medium flame and add salt and stir it and switch off the flame. Let the porridge cool down and once done add the buttermilk and mix and the drink is ready to indulge in.
